KAMA

Handmade kama made of hard wood.  Wood is treated with high quality natural wax polish paste (silicon free) that nourishes, feeds and protects thewood and helps to prevent it from drying out.It doesn't not leave a film onto the wood. As a result, the wood is free for moving without cracks and pealing and it doesn't stick on the hands and has a velvet touch.

If maintenance is needed, super-fine  sandpaper (600-grit) can be used.

About 700 years ago, in King Eiso's reign, agricultural tools such as hoes and sickles began to be made of iron. Kama was first used as a weapon by farmers around 1314 A.D. a pair of Kama are used separately or connected with a string. It is considered one of the hardest weapons to learn due to the inherent danger in practicing.
